The Reliability Engineering division is on the lookout for a skilled Reliability Engineer to contribute to our internal projects. This team collaborates closely with various engineering departments to ensure that our products meet stringent performance standards, environmental conditions, and client specifications. We are committed to developing state-of-the-art reliability processes and methodologies that secure long-term business success.

Key Responsibilities

This role encompasses a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the development of our innovative systems. The Reliability Engineer will spearhead efforts to enhance reliability for our core technologies, considering diverse applications and use cases.

Design & Development Support:
  • Assist Design & Development Engineers in documenting requirements, evaluating redundancy, and ensuring design reliability compliance with our internal standards.
  • Review system diagrams, interface control documents, and schematics for accuracy and compliance with operational requirements.
  • Identify potential risks early in the design phase using tools such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and coordinate mitigation strategies.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert during the Design Requirements Process to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Support milestone reviews and facilitate the transition to production with Quality Engineering.
Predictive Reliability Analysis:
  • Conduct predictive reliability assessments to determine probabilities of failure and reliability metrics using established specifications.
  • Lead critical evaluations and calculations through FMECA.
  • Implement maintainability prediction models and perform Weibull analysis based on test data.
Validation & Qualification:
  • Draft and manage comprehensive test plans for R&D and qualification campaigns.
  • Oversee the Qualification & Traceability matrix alongside requirements documentation.
  • Translate test requirements from DFMEA outputs and ensure compliance with program specifications.
  • Lead root cause analysis for issues identified during testing, collaborating with various engineering teams.
Continuous Improvement & Performance Monitoring:
  • Manage product lifecycle plans from component reception to deployment, ensuring all inspection requirements are documented.
  • Develop and implement reliability processes to enhance design, manufacturing, and deployment operations.
  • Analyze telemetry data to identify trends and drive improvements in testing and risk analysis.
  • Conduct regular reviews to address key performance issues and propose corrective actions.
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of experience in Reliability Engineering or related fields.
  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or Physics.
  • Experience with advanced hardware systems and reliability engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with predictive modeling and risk management methodologies.
  • Eligible for security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • B.S. or M.S. Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.
  • Experience with reliability modeling and analysis tools.
  • Proficiency in technical writing and requirements drafting.
