The Reliability Engineering division is in search of a Reliability Engineer to contribute to our internal projects focused on enhancing product reliability. This team collaborates closely with various engineering departments to ensure that our offerings consistently meet performance standards, environmental criteria, and client expectations. We are committed to developing state-of-the-art reliability processes and methodologies that secure sustainable business success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This multifaceted role involves supporting the development of advanced systems that integrate seamlessly with our other offerings. The selected candidate will spearhead the reliability engineering initiatives for our core technologies, considering diverse applications and scenarios.

Design & Development Support:
  • Assist design engineers in documenting requirements, evaluating redundancy, and ensuring proactive design reliability to comply with our established standards.
  • Review system diagrams, interface documents, and schematics for accuracy and compliance with operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to identify potential risks early using tools such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and coordinate mitigation strategies.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the Design Requirements Process to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Support milestone reviews and facilitate the transition to production alongside quality assurance teams.
Predictive Reliability Analysis:
  • Conduct predictive reliability assessments to estimate probabilities of control loss and asset failure, utilizing specifications and standards.
  • Lead Failure Mode and Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA) evaluations.
  • Develop maintainability prediction models and perform Weibull analysis based on qualification test data.
Validation & Qualification:
  • Draft and manage comprehensive test plans for research and development campaigns in collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Oversee the Qualification & Traceability matrix alongside requirements documentation.
  • Translate test requirements from DFMEA outputs into actionable plans for execution.
  • Develop accelerated test profiles based on mission parameters.
  • Lead root cause analysis for issues identified during testing phases.
Continuous Improvement & Performance Monitoring:
  • Oversee end-to-end plans from component receipt to deployment, ensuring all inspection and acceptance criteria are met.
  • Design and implement reliability processes to enhance our design, manufacturing, and deployment operations.
  • Analyze telemetry data to identify trends and drive improvements in testing and risk assessment.
  • Facilitate regular reviews to address key issues and propose corrective actions.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5-8 years of experience in reliability engineering or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics.
  • Experience with advanced hardware systems and high-pressure environments.
  • Familiarity with aircraft or engine system reliability engineering.
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling and risk management methodologies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience with reliability modeling and analysis tools.
  • Proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
