Position Overview

Role Summary

As a Surgery Center Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily functions of our Pre-Operative Surgery Center. This position is designed for a dedicated leader who is passionate about enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the daily operations of the Surgery Center and Pre-Admission Testing Clinic.
  • Coordinating staffing assignments to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
  • Leading and directing staff activities to align with departmental goals.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff.
  • Fostering a professional atmosphere within the nursing units.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or charge nurse role within a surgical or day surgery setting.
  • An Associate's degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • A valid Registered Nurse license in Texas (or the ability to obtain one within 90 days if holding a Compact License).
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association upon hire.
