The Nurse Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily functions of the Surgery Center and Pre-Admission Testing Clinic. This position combines management responsibilities with hands-on nursing duties.

Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise the planning, directing, and managing of staffing assignments to align with departmental goals and policies, ensuring optimal coverage and productivity.
· Lead and coordinate staff activities effectively.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
· Foster a professional atmosphere within the nursing unit, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience required.
· At least 2 years in a supervisory or charge nurse role within a surgical or day surgery setting.
· Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
· Valid Registered Nurse license in Texas; if holding a Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
· Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
