Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. As a Patient Access Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth registration process.

">Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.">
- Register patients for appointments, collect demographic and insurance information, and verify eligibility for services.">
- Manage cash and credit card transactions, maintaining accurate records and adhering to cash handling policies.">
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.">
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.">
Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of customer service experience preferred.">
- Previous experience in healthcare or medical setting strongly preferred.">
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) required.">
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.">
- Proficient computer skills, including keyboarding and mouse navigation.">
