We are seeking a Clinical Encounter Coordinator to join our team at Seattle Children's.

About the Role

This is a per diem (as needed) role, where you will play an essential part in the patient's pre-visit experience. You will be responsible for collecting accurate patient information, coordinating patient encounters, and providing patient support services to ensure each patient and family encounter is positive, professional, and efficient.

You will register patients and schedule appointments in Cadence and/or OpTime, coordinate care with other services, and minimize access delays. Additionally, you will process incoming referrals, triage patient telephone calls to appropriate resources, send MyChart invitations, collect and/or update demographic and financial information for optimal reimbursement, check in patients, collect copays and outstanding balances, inform of and collect signed consent for care, maintain standards for infection prevention, participate in strategic initiatives and hospital goal work, and effectively communicate with patients/families.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years customer service and/or administrative support experience, and/or healthcare experience with/without scheduling and registration experience
Estimated Salary Range

$22.58 - $33.87 per hour

This compensation range is calculated based on full-time employment and includes additional factors such as equity, skills, experience, and expertise.
