Job Overview

Quality Assurance Engineer plays a crucial role in verifying that incoming components from suppliers and internally manufactured products adhere to established quality benchmarks. This position demands extensive travel and proficiency in both Mandarin and English.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guarantee that products conform to quality standards to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce costs.
  • Detect and address quality-related challenges.
  • Assist in quality assurance during the phases of installation, commissioning, delivery, repair, and maintenance.
  • Formulate and apply optimal practices for defect prevention and ongoing enhancement.
  • Oversee quality-related concerns within the production team.
  • Swiftly and effectively resolve quality issues.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators related to quality.
  • Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System (ISO9001).
  • Conduct quality audits and spearhead process improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in work methodologies.
  • Familiarity with quality systems, Lean Manufacturing principles, and ISO9000 standards.
  • Capability to thrive in a diverse workplace.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The role involves exposure to outdoor conditions and elevated noise levels at job sites.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The individual must be able to perform physical tasks in an outdoor setting.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 95%

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Engineering or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Quality Engineer role.
