Job Title: Corporate Controller

The Corporate Controller will play a crucial role in the Finance team at Deltech, providing leadership and strategic direction to the accounting function. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, as well as establishing and maintaining internal controls and accounting policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the strategic direction of the global accounting function, aligning it with Deltech's overall business goals.
  • Provide consolidated financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Establish and maintain accounting guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP and other local statutory requirements.
  • Lead the annual year-end audit process with external auditors and manage the relationship to optimize value to the company.
  • Address various transaction-related accounting requirements, including opening balance sheet accounting, consolidation processes, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Develop and maintain efficient accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Liaise with outsourced tax providers on data requests and reporting requirements.
  • Develop business partner relationships with internal and external groups to improve the flow of financial information within the company.
  • Monitor operating results and budgets, making recommendations for cost reductions and profit improvements.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of professional experience, with a focus on controller roles.
  • Experience managing a team and leading financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with establishing accounting guidelines, internal controls, and policies and procedures.
  • Consolidations experience and ability to partner with business leaders.
  • Public accounting firm experience is a plus, as is manufacturing industry experience and experience in a private equity environment.
Education:

An undergraduate degree in Accounting, with an MBA being a plus. CPA certification is also required.
