At NorthBay Gastroenterology, our team of certified professionals utilizes a range of innovative treatments, from pharmacological therapies to minimally invasive endoscopic interventions and intricate digestive endoscopy. Patients with complex gastrointestinal issues benefit from the education and case management provided by our specialized nursing staff.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with dedicated time for procedures
- Care Responsibilities: Balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care
- On-Call Duties: General and advanced call responsibilities
- Patient Load: Manage a consistent daily patient volume
- Resources: Access to cutting-edge equipment and comprehensive support
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside a supportive group of physicians and Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs)
- Conduct a variety of advanced gastrointestinal procedures, including ERCP, EUS, and other sophisticated endoscopic techniques
- Deliver general gastroenterology services
- Employ advanced imaging technologies and navigational tools for precise diagnosis and treatment
- Assess and manage patients with intricate gastrointestinal conditions
- Collaborate closely with referring physicians and other medical specialists
- Engage in multidisciplinary meetings and tumor boards
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Contribute to quality enhancement initiatives, clinical research, and educational programs
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the electronic medical record system
- MD or DO degree
- Board-certified in Gastroenterology
- Fellowship-trained in Advanced Gastroenterology
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state
- Demonstrated experience in advanced gastrointestinal procedures
- Exceptional diagnostic and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
