Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, courteous assistance to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Financial Management: Accurately process transactions, maintain cash handling standards, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, reporting discrepancies and recommending solutions to management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to achieve departmental and store goals, contributing to a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using cash registers, scanners, and other equipment to efficiently process transactions and manage inventory.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash, process transactions, and maintain records.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of Financial Systems: Familiarity with financial software applications and systems used in the industry.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $15.90 - $21.60 per hour. Hannaford Supermarkets offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and retirement savings options.
