Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned auditor to join our team in South Portland, Maine. As a senior auditor, you will be responsible for leading audits, developing client relationships, and supervising staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate audit schedules and testwork
  • Develop client relationships and identify business opportunities
  • Supervise staff and provide technical guidance
  • Prepare audit risk assessments and audit plans
  • Complete fieldwork and prepare financial statements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least three years' experience in public accounting specific to audits
  • Governmental or Nonprofit auditing/accounting experience preferred
  • CPA certification not required, but preferred
  • Candidates without a CPA license should be actively working towards obtaining their license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
