Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Service Associate to join our team at Five County Credit Union. As a key member of our front-line operation, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, answering their queries, and helping them with various financial services.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for performing transactions, opening new accounts, and assisting members with loan applications.

Responsibilities
  1. Process transactions and perform account maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to members, addressing their queries and resolving any issues promptly.
  3. Assist members with loan applications, ensuring that all necessary documents are completed and processed correctly.
  4. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and computer proficiency.
