Essential Experience: Candidates must possess experience with Crestron equipment.

Position Overview: The AV Systems Specialist will be tasked with the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems. This role demands a meticulous individual with a robust technical foundation in AV technologies, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset to guarantee the exceptional functionality of AV systems.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Setup: Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems, including touch panels, processors, and associated equipment.
  • Technical Assistance: Offer on-site technical support for AV systems, addressing and resolving issues related to Crestron systems, audio, video, and integrated technologies.
  • System Integration: Work in collaboration with IT and facilities teams to ensure the seamless integration of AV systems with other technologies and compatibility with existing infrastructure.
  • Maintenance & Enhancements: Conduct regular maintenance and updates on AV systems, including firmware updates and hardware enhancements to ensure peak performance.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting protocols, and equipment inventories.
  • Training & Guidance: Educate staff on the effective use of AV systems and provide ongoing support to maximize technology utilization.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of AV-related projects, including system upgrades, relocations, and new installations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Practical experience with Crestron systems is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Crestron control systems, including programming and configuration. Familiarity with other AV technologies, such as video conferencing, projection systems, and audio equipment is advantageous.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong troubleshooting capabilities with the ability to quickly and efficiently diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users clearly and concisely.
  • Detail Orientation: Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in system configuration, documentation, and maintenance.
