Position Overview: The Audio Visual Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the setup, maintenance, and management of AV systems across various projects. This role demands a high level of technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and the ability to juggle multiple projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee AV system installations from inception to completion.
  • Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to timelines, specifications, and financial constraints.
  • Install, configure, and evaluate AV equipment, including sound systems, video displays, and control systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in AV technology.
  • Lead and mentor a team of AV technicians.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work atmosphere.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients.
  • Perform site assessments to identify client requirements and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Uphold quality standards for all AV installations.
  • Regularly inspect and test AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document project developments and any challenges encountered.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in AV installation, maintenance, and management.
  • In-depth knowledge of AV systems and technologies.
  • Demonstrated project management and leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
  • CTS certification is advantageous.

Working Conditions:

  • Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport AV equipment and tools.
