5 Legal is seeking an experienced Investment Funds Associate to join its Am Law 100 Investment Management Practice group.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have general experience working in teams and managing substantial components of transactions independently, as well as specific experience representing domestic and international venture capital and private equity funds in structuring, formation, and operation, and in various transactions such as financings, acquisitions, and formation of alternative investment structures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of fund formation experience.
- Candidates must have fund formation experience in hedge and/or private equity.
- Secondaries transaction experience is a plus and is a high growth area for this practice.
- Stellar academic credentials and comparable law firm experience are required.
