Agricultural Sales Representative

About the Position:
The Territory Account Manager is responsible for the sales and leasing of new and used agriculture equipment and attachments. The ideal candidate is a team-focused, self-motivated individual who is comfortable with learning and understanding the mechanics of farm equipment and has a strong ability to build long-lasting relationships with customers.
The territory for this position will be Madison and Delaware Counties in Indiana. The successful candidate will have unlimited earning potential through a fixed commission advance.
Responsibilities:
• Interact with prospects and customers to ensure a positive experience with our dealership.
• Work closely with prospects and customers to develop a relationship and understand their agricultural equipment needs.
• Conduct equipment demonstrations and analyze sales opportunities to solve customer problems and participate in sales promotions.
• Prepare sales quotes that are complete, accurate, and provide a detailed description of the equipment and services offered.
• Maintain acceptable levels of sales volume, gross profit, and achieve sales unit targets.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date call logs, prospects list, and mileage information.
• Stay current with agricultural product knowledge and features and benefits of all agricultural equipment.
• Maintain current knowledge of financing options for new and used agricultural equipment.
• Attend sales training, sales meetings, events, and seminars.
Qualifications or Requirements:
• College degree preferred, with coursework in Agribusiness, finance, or a related field.
• Agricultural equipment sales experience or equivalent experience.
• Highly self-motivated, strong interpersonal skills, and communication skills required.
• Excellent attention to detail.
