AOM Healthcare is a leading provider of long-term care services, operating 21 facilities throughout Ohio. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Director of Nursing to lead our nursing teams in our Northeast Ohio facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Oversee the planning, organization, and direction of nursing department functions.
    • Supervise Nurse Practitioners, Assistant Directors of Clinical Services, Clinical Nurses, and Nurse Technicians.
  • Quality and Compliance
    • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient nursing care.
    • Maintain compliance with resident rights policies and resolve grievances.
    • Establish and monitor compliance with medical record documentation systems.
  • Staff Development and Recruitment
    • Recruit and hire qualified nursing staff to meet staffing plans.
    • Establish and implement competency/skills checklists for nursing staff.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets for the nursing department.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Establish and maintain productive lines of communication with residents, families, internal staff, and external community.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
