Day Program Instructor

Join Redwood Family Care Network, a leading provider of person-centered home and community-based services, as a Day Program Instructor. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support adults with developmental disabilities in our Pasadena Day Program.
About the Role:As a Day Program Instructor, you will play a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing daily routines and activities that support our clients' goals and needs.
- Providing personal care and support with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Assisting with meal preparation and clean-up.
- Supporting clients with daily living and vocational activities, such as household chores and job training.
- Transporting clients to and from their homes or facilities, as needed.
- Participating in client assessment, planning, and evaluation processes.
- Documenting client progress and communicating with supervisors as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
- A California Driver's License.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
