  • Food Quality and Safety: Execute established food standards to meet or exceed brand expectations, ensuring the highest levels of hygiene and food handling practices.
  • Staff Development: Support the development and advancement of hourly team members, providing guidance and coaching to drive continuous improvement and employee growth.
  • Culinary Leadership: Serve as a Culinary Learning Coach, developing and implementing learning and development programs to enhance the skills of Heart of House employees.
  • Leadership and Adaptability: Possess a self-motivated approach to personal and professional growth, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the hospitality industry, inclusive of restaurant culinary operations.
  • Education and Certifications: Possess all local food management and safety certifications.

Skills:

  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, management, and guests.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Business Acumen: High level of business acumen and common sense, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results.

Physical Demands:

  • Physical Ability: Ability to move throughout the corporate office and cafes during visits, with the ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Sensory Abilities: Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear, with manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
