Job Summary

Bank OZK is seeking a highly skilled Loan Balancing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for reconciling various checking and general ledger accounts related to Loan Administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile assigned accounts at the assigned frequency, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Research outstanding items and process transactions to clear them in a timely manner.
  • Provide sufficient supporting detail as necessary for transactions to be approved.
  • Route completed reconcilements for approval and imaging.
  • Produce accurate, thorough, and timely work, meeting commitments and following policies and procedures.
  • Manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously with varying responsibility and complexity.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality at all times.
  • Travel periodically on company business.
  • Maintain good punctuality and attendance to work.
  • Follow Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong problem/analytical solving skills involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and other employees of the organization.
  • Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
