Our product range encompasses rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling, and materials handling.
Key Responsibilities
As the Sales Representative for Parts and Services, you will represent the product line across your designated territory. This will involve managing and supporting all direct business and customers concerning after-market sales and services while seeking new business opportunities. This role is primarily sales-focused, aimed at enhancing both top-line revenues and maximizing market share. By utilizing Product Support and providing guidance, you will implement support strategies for the product range to our direct businesses and end customers, contributing to the growth of our after-market business.
The Sales Representative for Parts and Services will:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy for your assigned accounts related to Parts Sales and Services.
- Collaborate proactively with the Account Manager and local Customer Service Manager to organize annual training seminars.
- Work closely with the Customer Account Manager and Customer Service Representatives to offer supply contracts, recommend spare parts, and propose rebuilds to our business network while identifying areas of opportunity.
- Provide regular sales and revenue forecasts by direct customer and product type.
- Assist customers in discovering new ways to expand our product offerings during key account visits.
- Manage the business portal and warranty processes monthly to ensure all purchased inventory is allocated to prospective direct business.
- Support customers and end users during high-profile demonstrations and start-ups.
Your Qualifications
You hold an Associate's Degree (or a two-year college diploma) in engineering, technical, or business fields, or possess equivalent experience, along with 5 years of industry-related experience. Familiarity with underground mining equipment is highly advantageous. You demonstrate excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, coupled with a high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity. You are resilient, embrace challenges, and thrive under pressure, with a strong sense of self-motivation and a passion for success.
The ideal candidate for the Sales Representative for Parts and Services should also possess:
- A strong customer service orientation.
- A high level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- The ability to work collaboratively with other internal teams.
- The capability to assess and manage business risks and profitability.
- A broad network of contacts within the industry.
