What do we require?

We are in search of a Fundraising Operations Coordinator to become part of our team, responsible for managing donor and supporter information, thereby enhancing our fundraising initiatives, narrative development, and systemic change strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CRM Oversight: Manage and uphold our Salesforce (and future CRM systems) to guarantee precise and current records of donors and supporters.
  • Gift Entry & Recognition: Input cash and in-kind donations and manage acknowledgments in Salesforce as part of the gift processing workflow. Ensure timely recognition of contributions made to the organization, including creating action plans for gift officers and generating thank-you communications.
  • Donor Research: Identify prospective donors for engagement by gift officers and keep them informed about opportunities for enhanced donor involvement.
  • Data Migration & Quality Assurance: Spearhead the transfer of donation data from external systems into our primary CRM, ensuring data accuracy and improving fundraising strategies, while executing cleanup processes to enhance reporting precision.
  • Grant Oversight: Develop and implement CRM-based grant management strategies, enabling the organization to monitor deadlines, project budgets, and report on fundraising progress.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Design and maintain reports and dashboards for institutional and individual contributions and base-building efforts, providing insights to support organizational objectives.
  • Training and Assistance: Educate and assist non-technical staff on data-related processes and tools, enhancing their ability to effectively utilize data in their roles.
  • Project Coordination: Participate in project planning initiatives, ensuring that data and technology projects align with the organization's goals and timelines.
  • Fundraising Assistance: Support independent revenue generation activities, including fundraising campaigns, peer-to-peer fundraising, base-building initiatives, and individual giving programs.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $31.00 per hour
  • Full-Time, Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Strong background in donor CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and data management tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable).
  • Data Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing and refining large datasets, enhancing data quality, and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Fundraising Background: Experience in supporting fundraising and/or membership initiatives, including data analysis and strategy formulation.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to engage with supporters directly when necessary, in alignment with the organization's values and mission.
  • Project Management Skills: Capability to plan and execute data and technology projects, ensuring timely completion that meets organizational requirements.
  • Training and Support Experience: Background in training and assisting non-technical staff, improving their understanding and application of data tools and processes.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to interpret data and provide actionable insights to support organizational goals.
  • Communication Proficiency: Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Four Years of Experience.


Compensation details: $28-$31 Hourly Wage
