Job Summary:

Barton Associates Careers is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our dynamic team. As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience across multiple HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, compensation, performance management, and organizational planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to employee inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process employment changes and maintain accurate records of support documentation.
  • Update and maintain company organizational charts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with the processing of new hire paperwork and conduct onboarding for new employees.
  • Process separations and maintain employee benefits filing systems.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the HR department.

Requirements:

  • Basic technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Sense of urgency and customer service.
