Job Overview: We are actively looking for a proficient PCB Technician to become a part of our team. The successful applicant will have a minimum of an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, along with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, particularly in printed circuit board (PCB) layout assembly. This role demands a keen eye for detail, robust technical skills, and the capability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Location: On-Site

Clearance Requirement: Candidates must be eligible to obtain a DoD US Government Secret Security Clearance. Proof of US Citizenship or US Government Permanent Residency is required. An active Secret Clearance is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute electro-mechanical assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with engineering specifications, schematics, and operational guidelines.

2. Employ hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and other assembly instruments to accomplish tasks with precision and efficiency.

3. Perform PCB layout assembly, including component placement, soldering, and quality inspection, ensuring compliance with established standards and specifications.

4. Identify and troubleshoot assembly challenges as they occur, working closely with engineering and production teams to devise effective solutions.

5. Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and procedures consistently.

6. Follow production timelines and objectives, achieving or surpassing productivity and quality benchmarks.

7. Document assembly processes, procedures, and any deviations for future reference and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
  • At least 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, with a concentration on PCB layout assembly.
  • Strong grasp of electronic components, PCB assembly methodologies, and soldering techniques.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions proficiently.
  • Experience with hand and power tools typically utilized in assembly operations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
  • Familiarity with IPC standards and industry best practices is advantageous.
