Job Summary

This position provides administrative support to the College of Engineering and Business, Dean's Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating files, spreadsheets, and paperwork, as well as creating materials to promote CEB activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update files, spreadsheets, and paperwork on an ongoing basis;
  • Create materials to promote CEB activities;
  • Update informational boards as required;
  • Provide tours to prospective students and employees;
  • Assist and help in the coordination of CEB/CBI events focusing on students and employers;
  • Monitor and sign out BISL laptops to students/faculty;
  • Manage the social media posts and generate content;
  • Monitor social media activity and provide feedback and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Arrive on time;
  • Dress professionally (business casual);
  • Demonstrate good time management and communication skills;
  • Work well with little supervision;
  • Adhere to chain of command for approvals (sickness, tardiness or absences);
  • Commit to work the hours agreed upon;
  • Maintain confidentiality;
  • Approach all circumstances with integrity; and
  • Show good social skills (must be a "people" person).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Students with advanced Excel skills for data analysis with the ability to use pivot tables, graphs, and charts to create visually-appealing presentations will be given priority.
Working Conditions

The Dean's Office hours are 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
