About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Contact Center Representative to join our team at Ascend Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our contact center team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members through inbound calls, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to inbound calls from members, providing accurate and timely information on credit union services and products.
  • Assist members with account inquiries, transactions, and other requests, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Cross-sell credit union services and products to members, building long-term relationships and increasing member engagement.
  • Follow policies and procedures related to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure compliance with current regulations.
  • Process telephone requests for transfers, withdrawals, loan advances, and payments, including Payment by Phone from other institutions, web payments, and mail withdrawal checks to members.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on job duties and company policies.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous credit union experience, including teller duties, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and the internet.
