Cost Segregation Senior Manager

Moss Adams LLP is seeking a highly skilled Cost Segregation Senior Manager to join our Tangible Asset Incentive Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple engagements and projects, analyzing potential projects, and communicating project status with internal and external clientele.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct onsite visits to potential clients and subject property inspections
  • Analyze potential projects and determine whether cost segregation services are appropriate
  • Manage multiple engagements and projects
  • Communicate project status with internal and external clientele
  • Analyze information and identify technical issues
  • Review junior members' work product
  • Manage project budgets
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Present reports and findings to clientele
  • Assist in the hiring, training, and mentoring of staff
  • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and client confidentiality
  • Provide timely and high-quality client service
  • Assist with practice development
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; emphasis in construction management, engineering, accounting, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience
  • CPA, EA, MAI, ASA, CMI, CCSP, or PE designation required; must meet educational requirements to obtain license upon hire in state of employment
  • Experience performing cost segregation studies or related construction duties such as estimating preferred
  • Experience within public accounting preferred
  • Experience with federal rules and regulations governing tax depreciation preferred
  • Ability to identify technical issues, analyze information, and report findings to the client
  • Previous experience training and leading a successful team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining careful attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
