Job Title: Knowledge and Communications Manager

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Knowledge and Communications Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications and knowledge management strategy that aligns with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a communications and knowledge management strategy that meets the needs of our organization and stakeholders.
  • Establish a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members.
  • Provide training and coaching to staff on communications and knowledge management best practices.
  • Translate technical and operational information into compelling communications materials.
  • Set up and maintain comprehensive program-specific knowledge management systems.
  • Review and monitor knowledge management strategy and approach regularly.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in communications, knowledge management, public relations, or a related field.
  • Well-developed communication skills with ability to interface with multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience using multiple platforms for knowledge sharing.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to austere environments as and when needed.
Education:

A bachelor's degree in communications, education, business, management, knowledge and/or information management, international affairs, global health or associated discipline from an accredited college is required.

Language Skills:

Proficiency in written and oral English language.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Organization, time management and strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills required.
  • Leadership, effective communication, problem-solving, coaching and teamwork skills are required.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement knowledge management strategies and develop high quality communications products.
