**As a Lead Teacher in Early Childhood Education, your responsibilities will include:**

+ Leading a team of educators to create classroom strategies, objectives, and engaging activities tailored to the interests and needs of the children.

+ Maintaining open communication with parents, documenting and sharing significant milestones in their child's daily experiences.

+ Ensuring a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to established procedures and guidelines.

**Qualifications:**

Applicants must successfully complete state and company background checks and meet the minimum educational and experiential criteria:

+ Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.

+ **Completion of 12 ECE units is mandatory: Child Development, Child Family Community, and two curriculum courses. For Infant or Toddler positions, the Infant/Toddler class is required as one of the curriculum courses. *Transcripts will be required upon hiring.***

+ A CDA or a higher level of education is necessary.

+ A minimum of six months of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is required.

+ Proven knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) is essential.
