Job Title: Wholesale Sales Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Wholesale Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic team at Sugarhill Apparel. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing our current clients' needs, expanding our national distribution network, and building strong relationships with retail buyers and store owners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our in-house brands, Sugarhill Apparel and Gala Original, to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients through regular check-in calls, follow-up, and exceptional customer service.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, both within assigned states/territories and through daily warm and cold calling.
  • Analyze sales and client data to understand client habits, trends, and demographics/geography of accounts.
  • Utilize sales trips and tradeshows to maximize relationships with clients and buyers.
Requirements:
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills.
  • Accomplished relationship builder with the ability to achieve genuine interactions with a diverse client base.
  • Proven track record in wholesale sales within the fashion industry (preferred, but not required).
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability.
  • Highly organized with an elevated attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace Applications (Sheets, Docs, etc.).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and internal teams.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for sales road trips and trade shows.
  • Strong understanding of the fashion culture, market, trends, and customer preferences.
Compensation:

Compensation for this position is a combination of an hourly base wage plus commissions/incentives tied to sales and overall production. There is no cap on commissions. Successful sales representatives in this role can expect to earn $70,000 to $130,000 based on performance.
