Job Title: Production Manager

Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at a rapidly growing Food Service Company.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in production management to oversee daily production activities, ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading, training, and developing production staff, as well as identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Lead, train, and develop production staff; schedule shifts and manage labor costs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Monitor product quality and compliance with health and safety regulations; address and resolve any quality issues.
  • Ensure all production equipment is properly maintained and functioning; coordinate repairs and upgrades as needed.
  • Work closely with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to align production schedules and address any issues.
  • Track production metrics, prepare reports, and analyze performance data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Ensure all production practices comply with relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
