Job Overview

Vetcelerator is seeking a skilled Veterinary Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service and support the smooth operation of our clinic. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for both humans and animals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting Clients: Welcome clients and their pets warmly, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere.
  • Phone and Email Management: Manage incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally, addressing client inquiries and appointment requests.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Efficiently schedule and reschedule appointments using practice management software, accurately inputting patient information.
  • Client Check-In and Check-Out: Streamline the check-in and check-out process, verifying appointments, processing payments, and addressing client concerns.
  • Document Scanning: Maintain organized digital records by scanning and cataloging important medical documents and records.
  • Reception Area Maintenance: Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming at all times, ensuring a positive client experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Avimark or similar veterinary practice management software is a plus.
  • Must have 1 year of experience working in the veterinary field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing excellent care.
