Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at New York Health. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily office operations, including opening and closing procedures, patient scheduling, and financial transactions.
  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice.
  • Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collect co-pays and balance office finances on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with our nursing team to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Contribute to a team effort by adapting to changing priorities and responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of patient-facing reception experience, with a strong focus on customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent typing and computer skills, with proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Spanish language proficiency a plus.
