Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced At-Risk Coordinator to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. This role will play a critical part in coordinating the development of performance improvement processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and regulations, and promoting continuous survey readiness for our Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the development of performance improvement processes to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Assist with compliance monitoring and promotion of continuous survey readiness for Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Services
  • Monitor national trends and data to identify opportunities for strategic follow-up and loop closure
  • Coordinate, implement, and maintain quality improvement activities for trauma and acute care surgery services, including outcome and cost analysis, benchmark data reports, and hospital trauma registry system reports
  • Serve as a resource for healthcare team members, patients, families, and community organizations regarding trauma and acute care surgery
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Required)
  • Advanced Trauma Course for Nurses (ATCN) certification
  • BLS American Heart E-Card certification
  • Minimum of five (5) years' acute care nursing experience with emphasis on trauma or related field
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

This role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be able to lift or carry patients weighing 35 pounds or greater, and will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Shift

This is a primarily office-based role, with no shift differential available.
