About Us

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Director of Clinical Operations to lead and expand our successful clinical model as we scale across the country. This critical role is responsible for ensuring that our clinical operations continue to deliver exceptional results, as evidenced by our early success in achieving a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 96 and managing a population 90% sicker than the Medicare benchmark at 25% below the Medicare cost.

In this leadership position, you will work closely with our Chief Medical Officer as a dyad partner to design, refine, and optimize clinical workflows that support our growth. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of our clinical operations, develop our team, and drive the metrics and leading indicators that ensure excellence in all aspects of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Operations Management: Design and manage clinical protocols to scale our model effectively across multiple locations.
  • Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop our clinical team, fostering a strong leadership culture within the organization.
  • Metrics and Performance: Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and drive clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Partnership Maximization: Collaborate with healthcare partners to enhance clinical performance and optimize joint ventures.

Accountabilities

  • Patient Engagement: Ensure patients are effectively engaged in our clinical model through proper scheduling, post-discharge follow-up, and ongoing communication.
  • Patient Experience: Oversee the patient experience from pre-appointment through post-appointment, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality care.
  • Quality Assurance: Design and manage our quality assurance program to maintain and improve quality standards.
  • Staff Satisfaction: Lead efforts to develop and support our team, recognizing that our success is driven by the strength of our people.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience leading clinical operations in a value-based primary care environment. Ideally with experience in management consulting as well.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a strong track record of clinical team development and meeting or exceeding clinical operational KPIs.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems, make smart trade-offs, and design systems that scale.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong EQ with diverse stakeholders (e.g. clinical staff, physicians, patients, remote colleagues).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment with high levels of energy, hustle, and drive.
  • Alignment with our core values: Heart, Excellence, Accountability, Resilience, Teamwork.

Why You Should be Excited

  • Rare opportunity to be at the forefront of healthcare innovation, helping to build and refine the first health system joint venture model in primary care.
  • Join a mission-driven, high-energy team dedicated to transforming the healthcare experience for underserved seniors whose medical needs have been historically unmet.
  • Work directly with the co-founders (CEO and CMO) to shape the future of our company.
  • Hire, develop, and lead a committed team of people.
  • Competitive compensation with significant upside potential; no investors creates more financial rewards for the team.
