At Children's Land, we're seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator and Development Specialist to join our team.



Job Overview

As an integral member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and nurturing environment that fosters the growth and development of our youngest learners.



Key Responsibilities


  • Design and Implement Engaging Lesson Plans: Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of our toddlers, promoting physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
  • Monitor and Record Developmental Milestones: Track and maintain detailed records of our children's progress, ensuring we're providing the highest standards of childcare and education.
  • Facilitate a Structured Daily Routine: Create and implement a daily schedule that includes playtime, learning activities, and rest periods, ensuring our children's needs are met.
  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment: Ensure the safety and well-being of our children by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and hygienic classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with Parents: Keep parents informed about their child's development and any concerns, working closely with them to ensure our children receive the best possible care.
  • Work with Colleagues: Collaborate with our dedicated team to ensure a cohesive and cooperative working environment, promoting a love for learning in our children.
  • Develop Educational Materials: Create and utilize educational materials to stimulate our children's senses and promote learning, encouraging their natural curiosity and love for discovery.
  • Organize Activities: Plan and implement activities that encourage our children to explore their surroundings, developing their motor skills and creativity.
  • Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in our field.


Qualifications and Requirements


  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with toddlers or young children.
  • Certifications: Mandated Reporter certification, CPR, and First Aid certification.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, patience, and a genuine love for working with young children.

  • Health Insurance: Children's Land covers 25% of monthly premiums for full-time employees.
  • Paid Leave: 40 hours of paid leave per 12-month period.
  • Paid Vacation Days: 5 days per year after completing 1 year of employment, increasing by 2 days after 5 years and by 3 days after 10 years.
  • Holiday Pay: 6 annual national holidays observed and compensated.
  • Compensation Review and Bonuses: Annual assessments and pay increases following performance evaluations.

Estimated salary range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
