Accounting Associate/AR Specialist

At J R CARLSON LABORATORIES INC, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Associate/AR Specialist to support our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and apply incoming customer cash receipts to correct invoices in the accounting system, researching and resolving any discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit bank deposits electronically and in person.
- Monitor outstanding accounts receivables and follow up on past due accounts.
- Effectively communicate with customers to resolve issues and collect payments.
- Develop and maintain various cash receipt and accounting Excel spreadsheets that drive journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Provide backup support for other accounting positions as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with cash application, accounting systems, and Excel.
- Able to identify and resolve issues.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities when needed.
- Ability to provide excellent service to both external and internal customers.
