About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Robotics Engineer Intern to join our team at Relativity Space. As a key member of our additive technology team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our Stargate-Class 3D printer design.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of Relativity's Stargate-Class 3D printer design
  • Contributing to the assessment of proposed design changes and impact based on test evidence
  • Participating in the development of software and controls for industrial robots
  • Implementing algorithms for the calibration and motion control of complex robotic systems

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in robotics, mechatronics, or a related field, and experience with software development and hardware interfacing. About the Team

Our additive technology team is responsible for leading research and development of Relativity's Stargate 3D-printing platform and factory operating system. We work closely with robotics engineers, data scientists, systems engineers, and welders to advance Relativity's innovative tech stack, which leverages autonomy, advanced simulation, machine learning, and robotics.
