About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer Intern to join our team at Relativity Space. As a Quality Engineer Intern, you will play a critical role in defining the processes and systems used to assure high quality of vehicle and engine hardware.

You will have the opportunity to help set the tone for Quality at Relativity by defining the processes and establishing interdepartmental relationships needed to accomplish this goal across the entire company.

The Quality Engineer Intern will be responsible for testing flight quick disconnects, implementing computer vision on robots, and working on automated sanding/grinding capabilities for our print cells.

Responsibilities
  • Define processes and systems for quality assurance
  • Establish interdepartmental relationships for quality goals
  • Test and implement quality control measures
  • Work on automated processes for print cells
Requirements
  • Obtaining BS or MS degree in Engineering
  • Experience building and/or testing hardware in a manufacturing environment
  • Extensive experience interfacing with design engineering, manufacturing, and production personnel
  • Knowledge of configuration management, manufacturing methods, and process quality controls
