Account Executive

MRI Software is a leading provider of enterprise software applications and hosted solutions for the global real estate industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as an Account Executive.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the market through proactive outreach and lead generation.
- Drive the sales process from initial contact to closing, utilizing strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to provide valuable insights to internal teams.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to proactively identify and sell new opportunities.
- Handle the contracting process and simple sales negotiations.
- Collaborate with other business units to develop integrated sales strategies for shared opportunities.
- Submit sales metrics and reports in a timely manner.
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
- Exceed assigned annual sales quota.
- 2+ years of sales experience in business products or services, with a proven track record of closing new business and exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in selling software and/or knowledge of the Real Estate industry, with the ability to network within the industry.
- Knowledge of products, software pricing practices, selling skills, personal computers, and various software application skills.
- Excellent understanding of the end-user business and issues, or the ability to apply unrelated knowledge to the Real Estate Industry.
- Ability to push past rejection to achieve results.
- Demonstrated computer systems knowledge, including web technologies, CRM, employee self-service, and a general understanding of larger business system applications.
- Planning skills to determine and meet departmental objectives.
- Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and deliver powerful presentations.
- Excellent time management, communication skills, decision-making, human relations, presentation, and organization skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple high-level priorities.
