About the Role

Silk Road Medical, Inc. is a medical device company dedicated to reducing the risk of stroke and pioneering innovative treatments for carotid artery disease. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Ambassador to drive the adoption and sales of our TransCarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) procedure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality support to accounts, ensuring procedural success and superior outcomes for Silk Road Medical products.
  • Drive safe adoption and superior outcomes of TCAR procedures by providing sound technical and clinical support.
  • Support TCAR teams with appropriate products, clinical literature, and pre-case planning strategy.
  • Educate implanting teams on proper indications for TCAR procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and relevant literature.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for optimal customer support and product improvement.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and handle administrative responsibilities.
  • Report device complaints to proper departments within quality assurance within Silk Road Medical.
  • Develop and deliver effective sales presentations and training sessions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Stay current with local, national, and international regulations, standards, and guidelines applicable to medical devices and promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or technical degree or comparable experience.
  • Typically, 8+ years clinical, medical device, or related experience.
  • Experience in a consultative role in an applicable vascular environment; i.e., operating room setting.
  • Strong, proven medical device sales/clinical track record with documented growth and achievements.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, build customer relationships, and effectively close deals.
  • Knowledge of imaging modalities (duplex ultrasound/catheter angiography/CTA, MRA), EKG, procedural hemodynamics, heart rate, blood pressure, knowledge of pharmaceutical/drug regimens, and ancillary procedural solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey product information, articulate value propositions, and build rapport with healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to comprehend complex medical device technologies and explain them in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and decision-makers.
  • Understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement processes, and the financial aspects of the sales process.
