Position Summary:

The Social Media Intern will assist the Marketing Team in crafting engaging content and managing Kiln's social media channels. This role involves close collaboration with the Content Marketing Manager to develop and implement social media strategies aimed at boosting brand visibility and fostering engagement across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and scheduling of social media content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Engage with Kiln's online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
  • Contribute to the growth of Kiln's social media profiles by identifying and utilizing current trends.
  • Generate, post, and manage short-form videos for social media.
  • Design, post, and manage graphics for social media using tools like Canva (experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate is a plus).
  • Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns to promote events, announcements, and community initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to plan and execute content that aligns with Kiln's branding and marketing goals.
  • Conduct regular audits of social media to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign success and identify improvement areas.
  • Stay informed about the latest social media best practices, tools, and trends.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas for enhancing Kiln's social media presence.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong awareness of trends on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Comfortable and confident on camera for short-form videos.
  • Ability to effectively record short-form social media videos using an iPhone.
  • Passion for social media and familiarity with major platforms.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics tools and data interpretation.
  • Experience in creating content for social media, including graphics, photos, and videos.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva is advantageous.
  • Strong on-camera presence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and member-focused.
