Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Operations and Training Manager to join our team at Plastpro & JM Eagle. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for leading the sales onboarding process, implementing effective training methods, and collaborating with sales managers and account managers to drive sales team success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Sales Onboarding Process
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure new account managers and support staff are equipped with the necessary resources to succeed.
    • Collaborate with sales managers and account managers to monitor sales team progress and address any issues.
  • Implement Effective Training Methods
    • Design and deliver engaging and effective training programs for new team members on our products, processes, and systems.
    • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and maintaining up-to-date learning resources on platforms like SharePoint.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and Account Managers
    • Work closely with sales managers and account managers to monitor sales team progress and address any issues.
    • Provide timely and constructive performance evaluations for direct reports.
  • Oversee Pricing Accuracy and Sales Workflows
    • Oversee pricing accuracy in the AS400 system across various markets.
    • Manage sales workflows related to order processing, contracts administration, and customer rebate programs.
  • Lead a Team of Analysts
    • Direct a team of analysts to research and analyze data for identifying sales growth opportunities.
  • Handle Customer Complaints
    • Handle customer complaints requiring escalated resolution.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments
    • Act as a liaison between the sales operations team and other departments such as Accounting, Credit, Quality, Production, and Logistics.
  • Engage in Professional Development
    • Engage in professional development and educational opportunities relevant to the role.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 5 to 7 years of experience in sales operations, with a track record of success in management or leadership roles.
  • Skills
    • Comprehensive knowledge of sales technologies.
    • Exceptional ability to design and implement effective training and development programs.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a talent for working cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
