About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Lockheed Martin Corporation as an IT Systems Administrator, supporting the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and support for the ALIS system, ensuring its smooth and secure operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site maintenance and support for the ALIS system, including backups, restores, and disaster recovery.
  • Monitor and perform hardware and system maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Analyze and identify issues with internal databases and applications, implementing solutions to resolve problems.
  • Set up and manage administrator and service accounts, ensuring secure access to the system.
  • Install and configure system-wide software, allocating mass storage space as needed.
  • Interact daily with users, providing technical support and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for the ALIS product suite.
  • Maintain system documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of system configuration and maintenance.
  • Train System Administrators and users on the ALIS system, as needed.
  • Review processes and procedures, collecting system operational data for analysis and improvement.

Requirements
  • DoD Secret security clearance with an investigation within the last 6 years.
  • Current DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+ or CCNA).
  • IT experience in system, network, and database administration.
  • Experience with at least one of the following: PowerShell, Virtual Machines, SQLPlus, RMAN, Layers 2&3, firewalls, switches/routers.
  • Ability to deploy with a US Naval vessel as required.
Desired Skills
  • Prior experience working with the US Navy.
  • Experience troubleshooting web applications.
  • JBOSS (WildFly) Application Server familiarity.
  • Account maintenance with Active Directory/Oracle/CRM.
  • Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases, and network equipment.
  • Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V/VMware).
  • Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components.
  • Applying updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates.
  • Use of Splunk Log Aggregation and Dashboard.
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administrator.
  • Installing Oracle Critical Patches, reviewing tables and DBA views for issues, and locating user session data.
  • Managing large Oracle and SQLServer databases.
  • Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, to include the JSF ALIS hardware and software.
