Senior Research Associate, Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care Specialist

The University of Cincinnati's Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Associate to join the lab of Wei Shi, PhD. This is a full-time position that will focus on pulmonary vascular development and diseases research.
Essential Functions- Coordinate research studies in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
- Contribute to the development of research projects and studies.
- Perform statistical and graphical analysis of data, interpret data, and assist in judging validity.
- Independently decide how to solve issues and rely on own resources to resolve problems.
- Contribute to the collective team effort.
- May establish test controls, criteria, and research standards.
- May design complex data processing systems to analyze research data.
- Accomplish assigned results for projects or studies.
- Serve as a seasoned researcher and may act as a mentor to junior-level research staff.
- May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff.
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Three years of experience in a related field, process, or discipline.
Additional Qualifications ConsideredAdvanced degree and training.
