Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Retina Consultants of Texas. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering incoming patient calls, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming patient calls and schedule appointments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and insurance information
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other team members to ensure seamless coordination of care
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with the practice management team to ensure smooth operation of the front office
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service or medical scheduling experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Work Environment

Our office is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires strong organizational and communication skills. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be working in a team-based environment, collaborating with other staff members to ensure seamless coordination of care.
