Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Access Representative to join our team at OakBend Medical Center. As the first point of contact for our patients and guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate registrations, and facilitating smooth patient flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and guests, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Accurately and efficiently register patients, verify benefits, and obtain necessary authorizations for services.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with changing healthcare policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or business office setting, with a focus on customer service and registration.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
