Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at The Henry, Autograph Collection, Dearborn, MI. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality in our food and beverage offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff

Supervise and train a team of servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses to ensure they are providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Manage Restaurant Operations

Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing inventory, scheduling, and maintaining a high level of quality in our food and beverage offerings.

Ensure Exceptional Customer Service

Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, including greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and receiving shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized storage area.

Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment

Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces, and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are met.

Monitor and Control Labor Costs

Monitor and control labor costs, including scheduling and managing staff to ensure that we are meeting our labor budget.

Assist with Menu Planning and Development

Assist with menu planning and development, including researching new menu items and making recommendations to the restaurant manager.

Perform Other Duties as Assigned

Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager, including assisting with special events and projects.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.

Experience in Food and Beverage Industry

Experience in the food and beverage industry is required, including experience in a supervisory or management role.

Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, including the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and management.

Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required, including the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation Regulations

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is required, including the ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Ability to Lift Up to 50 Pounds

The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required, including the ability to move equipment and supplies as needed.
