Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Culinary Operations Supervisor to join our Food Services team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely completion of various culinary projects assigned by the Food & Beverage Leadership, while maintaining rigorous quality standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold service quality benchmarks.
  • Provide menu suggestions for events and daily service.
  • Oversee kitchen staff and foodservice personnel.
  • Assist in managing labor costs and overtime.
  • Procure food supplies for events and foodservice operations.
  • Ensure kitchen and equipment comply with health code regulations.
  • Organize and set up the kitchen efficiently.
  • Maintain safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Contribute to upgrades and quality improvements as directed.
  • Manage daily restaurant operations and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain accurate kitchen documentation.
  • Prepare food consistently on a daily basis.
  • Assist with inventory management.
  • Engage in additional activities as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to address challenges and seize opportunities.
  • Act as a cooperative team member, offering expertise within the team and across departments as necessary.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Currently enrolled in a culinary arts program or possess equivalent experience.

Specialized Skills
  • Familiarity with international culinary terminology.
  • Garde-manger expertise.
  • Basic bakery and pastry skills.
  • Understanding of nutritional principles.
  • Proficient knife skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial food service equipment.
  • Skilled in classical food preparation and capable of assisting with the artistic presentation of dishes.
