We are seeking a Cloud Security and Compliance Specialist to fortify the security of our cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, OCI), implement compliance measures, and effectively convey security policies and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, deploy, and oversee cloud security frameworks and processes across multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, OCI) and hybrid environments.
  • Regularly evaluate and monitor cloud systems for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and unusual activities.
  • Establish and sustain cloud security tools for threat detection, incident management, and access governance.
  • Formulate and uphold cloud security policies and protocols that align with industry standards and regulatory mandates.
  • Collaborate with development, engineering, and operations teams to embed security best practices into the DevSecOps workflow (CI/CD).
  • Lead and engage in cloud security assessments and penetration testing to verify compliance and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Oversee and react to security incidents in accordance with established protocols.
  • Remain informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance standards in cloud security.
  • Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding cloud security status and compliance obligations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure the successful execution of security and compliance evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security and/or compliance engineering roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing security and compliance initiatives.
  • Familiarity with relevant security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR).
  • Strong grasp of security best practices, including penetration testing techniques and risk management.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., vulnerability scanners, SIEM, IDS/IPS).
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in cloud security across AWS, Azure, OCI.
  • Experience with Palo Alto Networks VM-Series NGFW.
  • Experience in the development and management of security policies.

Compensation: Depending on experience, there are two distinct roles available. The mid-level position offers a salary range of $100,000-140,000 annually plus bonuses. The Senior level position offers a salary range of $140,000-180,000 annually plus bonuses.
